Verizon Wireless V CAST Video Integrated with Android Smartphones

Verizon Wireless smartphone customers can now watch television shows and sporting events more easily than previously.
 
Verizon (News - Alert) Wireless, who operates the large and reliable wireless voice and 3G data network and provides service to almost 93 million customers, announced that the V CAST Video has now been integrated on the company's notable line of Android (News - Alert) smartphones.



 
Live streams of all 64 of the Spanish-language broadcasts of the 2010 FIFA World Cup soccer matches from South Africa will be provided by Univision Interactive Media exclusively the mobile devices of the V CAST Video customers. The 2010 FIFA World Cup is just one of the many live sporting events available all throughout the year via V CAST. This includes college basketball, NHL Hockey and college football.
 
Verizon Wireless V CAST Videos, a high quality video content delivery service, allows you to experience full motion videos to keep up with the most recent news, sports scores & plays, weather, entertainment, and more, all from your phone.
 
Android customers can now watch a broad range of top-rated entertainment, sports programs, and news with V CAST Video. They can enjoy it anytime they want on their smartphones' screens. V CAST Video just added programming from AETN. This counts Lifetime and History, Spanish-language content from V-me, and A&E. V CAST Video now has over 230 full-length programs from over 40 providers.
 
The V CAST Video can now be found in the Verizon Channel in Android Market on all Android smartphones from Verizon Wireless. The Android smartphones from Verizon Wireless are DROID ERIS by HTC, DROID Incredible by HTC, Motorola (News - Alert) DEVOUR, DROID by Motorola and LG Ally. Customers who want V CAST Video on Android devices can now get it for a $10 monthly subscription on top of their smartphone data plan.
 
Verizon was in news yesterday for going all-VoIP with digital voice product.
