Clearwire Launches High Speed CLEAR 4G to Yakima and Tri-Cities

Clearwire (News - Alert) Corporation is a trusted provider of wireless broadband services. Recently, it announced that CLEAR 4G is available in today's market. It is a mobile Internet service with very high speed which is intended for businesses and consumers in Yakima and the Tri-Cities. By making use of CLEAR, users are now able to get access to Internet at speeds four times faster than 3G regardless of where they are. The only criterion is they need to be within the coverage range of CLEAR.



 
In Parts of Oregon, California and New York, CLEAR recently introduced:  
  • 4G Network Covers over 1,450 Square Miles in Yakima and the Tri-Cities
  • Dual-mode 4G/3G Modems connects users all through the Region
  • 4G Mobile Internet Promotion is available at Clear.com
Moreover, CLEAR offers its service to the location which extends from northwest to Ellensburg and southeast to Toppenish, Sunnyside, Grandview and Prosser. In the Tri-Cities, it extends its service to west to Benton City and east to Hermiston and Pendleton.
 
In a release Tim Ross who is the regional general manager for CLEAR said 'With CLEAR, residents now have a fast, mobile Internet connection that goes with them across the valley. And we're excited to offer affordable plans without limits.'
 
CLEAR makes use of WiMAX (News - Alert) that offers service areas measured in miles and not in feet. CLEAR also provides an average mobile download speeds of 3 to 6 mbps with bursts over 10 mbps. The dual-mode 4G/3G modems links users who are not inside the CLEAR 4G service area by utilizing Sprint's (News - Alert) 3G data network. Clearwire provides numerous methods to connect to CLEAR 4G services through a modem, mobile device, or a 4G-embedded laptop or netbook.
 
Through the service offered by CLEAR, users can connect each other and increase the productivity. For instance: 
  • A business executive who is travelling need not search for Wi-Fi hotspots or be restricted by the speeds and limitations of 3G modem cards
  • A college student can now access Internet service at an affordable cost wherever they are.
  • A commuter can currently operate on huge files or stream their favorite shows while traveling
  • A parent with a busy schedule can now keep kids occupied studying or playing games in the back of the family minivan.
