By Vinti Vaid, TMCnet Contributor

IVR Technologies, Inc., a software developer of IP-based enhanced services, SIP trunking and real-time billing solutions, and 360networks have successfully completed the interoperability testing.

The testing enables service providers to take advantage of an end-to-end solution which will increase both revenue and subscribers to their networks while reducing operating costs and customer churn.

Service providers will now be able to extend their network while attracting new subscribers through Talking SIP’s (News - Alert) flexible, empowering and intuitive applications. At the same time they will also be able utilize 360networks’ 18,000 route mile fibre optic network to either build or terminate traffic to new regions.

The solution will cut down of heavy capital outlays for gateways, soft switches, and associated administrative overhead that is borne by most service providers.

Steve Cardwell, vice president of sales for 360networks (News - Alert) said that the demand for SIP Trunking continues to grow and with the interoperability testing a success, service providers can now employ SIP Trunking and expand the markets they serve quickly and cost effectively."

IVR Technologies' (News - Alert) advanced software platform is a combination of five separate network elements, namely - application, media, real-time billing, location/registration, and Class 5 services into a single, tightly integrated server for SIP-based voice-over-IP networks.

Talking SIP has been developed to increase and build up revenue to the network by providing intelligent and in-demand applications like SIP trunking, calling card, one-number locator, Class 4/5 switching, voice messaging, hosted PBX (News - Alert), hosted call center and call-back that attracts users.

Randall Walrond, vice president of Product Management, IVR Technologies, Inc. said that their customers could now extend their network by building and terminating traffic on a robust, high quality next-generation network, without having to incur heavy costs.
