Glowpoint's Cloud-Based Managed Video Services Support Renewable Energy Company

Glowpoint (News - Alert), Inc., a global provider of managed services for telepresence and video conferencing, has announced that a renewable energy development company has chosen Glowpoint's cloud-based managed video services to reduce executive travel and increase employee collaboration. 

The energy development company originally implemented Glowpoint's B2B Exchange services (TEN) in early 2009 at four of its corporate sites and has recently expanded its service to include Glowpoint's cloud-based, reservationless and managed multi-point conferencing for inter-office communications.

In 2010, the client has utilized their video systems for more than 31,000 minutes, with increasing usage attributed to multi-point video calling enabled by Glowpoint's hosted video infrastructure.

The renewable energy company chose not to be identified due to its internal policies.
