Actiontec Wants to Know: How Much Do You Love Broadband?

Actiontec, a provider of broadband connectivity and broadband-powered solutions, has announced it shipped its 10 millionth broadband device since entering the market back in 2001.

 

In honor of this milestone, the company is giving someone the chance to win $500 by submitting a video that explains how much they love their broadband connection.

 

The "I Love my Broadband" video contest is open to anyone to submit a short video detailing why they love their broadband in two minutes or less. Including how it has impacted their life using services like IPTV (News - Alert), online games, downloading music, etc.

 

Not only is Actiontec celebrating its growth in the broadband market with its 10 millionth broadband device shipped in 2008, but it also has shipped over 5 million broadband devices since March 2007.

All videos uploaded and submitted by 11:59 pm EST on Saturday, January 31, 2009 will be eligible to win the prize. Actiontec employees will view the video submissions and pick the top 20 to post on the company Website as well as the GoActiontec YouTube (News - Alert) Channel. There, anyone can vote and the video receiving the most votes by Sunday, February 15, 2009 will win the prize.
