Symon And Madix Introduce New Customer Self-Service Retail Shelving Application

Digital signage provider Symon announced today that it has been selected to be an authorized reseller for the new Madix Easel Digital Signage Shelving product. The solution was successfully launched at the GlobalShop trade show in Chicago on March 19, 2008. The new retail shelving application manufactured by Madix utilizes Symon’s digital media player and touch screen technology. Symon integration with the Easel shelf provides a robust, flexible and interactive marketing experience for the customer.  The Symon solution also makes it easy to implement and manage for the retailer.




The new bundled Symon offering named Symon TouchScreen Shelving, includes the new Madix Easel shelf and will enclose Symon’s retail digital signage technology.  This creates a one-to-one touch screen experience that’s a seamless part of the store environment at the point of sale. It is very accessible, the signage is right next to the merchandise and within easy reach of shoppers for a personal interactive one-to-one guided selling experience. The digital content is built right into the shelving making it an integrated part of the shopping experience and a natural part of the retail environment.  Every interaction generates valuable real-time data about the shoppers that will help sharpen any in-store marketing and merchandising efforts.
