At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Doro will display several of its new mobile phone models that are specifically designed to tap the easy-to-use mobile niche for seniors. One of the hottest and fast selling Doro (News - Alert) products include Doro PhoneEasy 615, the company’s first 3G mobile with 3.2 Megapixel camera.
In a release, Jerome Arnaud (News - Alert), president and CEO of Doro said, “We are releasing the fifth generation of our easy-to-use mobile phones, inspired by our hit phone the Doro PhoneEasy 410gsm. We have made a lot of big and small changes, all of which together have resulted in an even better, more suitable product range. It feels incredibly exciting to be able to offer a mobile phone with a camera and 3G. Our latest customer surveys show an increased demand for this.”
Ulrika Ewerman of Ergonomic design, the design company behind the new range said, “In the development phase, we always start from the needs deriving from the challenges of ageing and have the ambition that our designs will make a difference by making their users' everyday lives easier.”
Doro’s product information and highlights include: extra loud, clear sounds; large, easy-to-read displays; clear contrast and adjustable fonts; direct text keys and three quick dial keys.
The product also features integrated hearing loops (HAC M3/T4) and Spaced concave keys.
The Doro PhoneEasy 615 -3G camera phone has an inclusion of a 3.2 megapixel camera without flash, while Doro PhoneEasy 610 takes care of direct SMS keys including integrated hearing loop in black, white, red and silver.
Similarly, Doro PhoneEasy(R) 680 and Doro PhoneEasy(R) 682 include features such as an alarm key linked to GPS positioning, a noise reducing function, and separate alarm. As a Swedish company, GPS develops telecom products specially adapted to the growing worldwide population of seniors.
