Along with the ability to improve productivity and reduce costs in the call center, new phone services can also help smaller businesses to bring together their communications solutions and more easily collaborate.
To this end, Microsoft Response Point and SMB Phone (Phone Inc.) have announced at ITEXPO East which kicks off today in Miami, a new marketing alliance that will bring SMB Digital Voice services to 48 markets in Canada.
These new services will help Canadian SMBs with a more affordable and easier way to attain new generation business communications features.
The new Canadian telecom carrier was created in partnership with Microsoft (News - Alert) and specifically for Microsoft Response Point services. The Phone Digital Voice service brings Response Point users enhanced features and lower costs over "POTS."
The new services make it possible for SMBs to attain affordable, feature rich, easy-to-manage, easy-to-use business communications that bring together advanced capabilities like voice recognition, email, computer and mobile services.

Microsoft's Response Point phone system provides SMBs with up to 50 users a number of easy to use, control, and manage business communications features.
The new phone service makes it easier to direct dial employees and departments as well as offers unlimited North American long distance calling and offers virtual presence numbers for local calling anywhere in Canada, among a number of other features

Microsoft is sponsoring a free multi-session Response Point Seminar at TMC’s ITEXPO East 2009 starting today, February 2 until February 4, 2009, at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
The Response Point Solution Seminar at ITEXPO (News - Alert) will provide VARs and Agents with hands on tutorials, keynotes and exhibits associated with Response Point and the benefits it can provide.
