TMCnet VoIP Minute Watch Columnist

Software applications provider IPcelerate Inc. announced this week that it was selected to provide VoIP software applications for a series of Arizona-based Subway Sandwich Stores. The deal called for IPcelerate's Application Consulting Group to deploy a series of VoIP business systems onto a converged network to assist with business processes.

"I am responsible for 30 plus stores and am constantly working to manage all the business process issues that impact profit," said Les White, who is engaged in an IPcelerate Application Discovery Workshop and is working directly with IPcelerate. "IPcelerate's solutions are going to streamline many of these processes, making it easier on my management team to focus on our customers and our bottom line."

IPcelerate's applications will impact time card and shift management, the daily deposit, store emergency awareness, customer order improvement, daily store tasks awareness, employee recognition and employee safety.

IPcelerate will develop applications specific to these business initiatives. White is deploying Cisco 7970 IP Phones with IPcelerate VoIP applications integrated into his time and labor, security, and inventory systems. "I never imagined a phone would have such an impact on my business," said White.

The development and deployment of the IPcelerate VoIP application system will be delivered in 3 phases spanning about 6-9 months.  Phase 1 is targeted to be fully deployed in Q1 2006.
