BrightMove Releases Version 2.2 of SaaS

By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing Editor

The development staff at BrightMove, Inc., has announced the release of the latest version of their software-as-a-service applicant tracking software: BrightMove version 2.2.

Company president James Hurff says one of the goals of this release was to improve the product's "user friendliness." Hurff said the company made "major revisions to the search engine module specifically to make the access to the applicant resume and contact history data faster and easier to digest."

Company officials claim version 2.2 makes the product's Applicant Tracking System more intuitive, and helps companies who work with the federal government "comply to new regulations surrounding internet applicant and minimum qualifications."

For companies who act as vendors to federal government agencies, Hurff says, the "knockout questions" feature provides a "way to manage online applications for employment and basic qualifications."

Hurff said the new version of the product addresses "significant regulatory justifications" not included in previous versions.

Other features and enhancements in the version 2.2 include the ability to send rich text HTML e-mail messages directly from the system, and staffing software that now gives clients the ability to ask general questions of all applicants who want to apply for employment.

Additionally, companies can standardize applications and provide a way to separate "corporate-wide" knockout questions as well as individual "job-specific" knockout questions.

The product also has the ability to track all system e-mails. All of the e-mails from all of clients' different e-mail addresses will be tracked and added to their individual planner. There are also new enhancements to the Reports module that allow for the export all reports easily to Microsoft (News - Alert) Excel

BrightMove is offering ATS as a "low cost alternative to the often expensive CRM packages and contact management" products, company officials say.
