MarketShare Telecom, exclusive authorized distributor of Ericsson Enterprise products in the United States and Canada, has announced the addition of Advanced Phone Solutions, Inc. as a dealer with coverage of the Palm Beach, Broward County and Miami markets as well as the Atlanta market.
The agreement enables Ericsson, provider of enterprise PBX products, to expand its U.S. market coverage and provide PBX alternatives and contact center tools and services for the South Florida and Atlanta markets.
MST will provide lead generation services, marketing support, product delivery management, technical and application training, and customer service support.
Advanced Phone Solutions, Inc., a business telephone solutions provider, will now add Ericsson's flagship Enterprise solutions to its product portfolio, including the Solidus eCare Contact Center Solution and the MD110 IP PBX product along with its associated messaging and mobility features.
A week ago Telefon AB LM Ericsson announced that its Solidus eCare solution is being used in the roll out of a new multisite multimedia customer contact center for one of Sweden's largest insurance companies, Folksam.
Ericsson's product provides Folksam's 1,160 customer service agents with communication capabilities, enabling them to manage calls from any phone or softphone-equipped PC connected to the corporate network at any location.
The Solidus eCare solution operates on Ericsson's MD110 Convergence Communication System. Ericsson Mobile Extension also gives 400 employees remote or roaming capabilities. It offers a functionality equivalent to traditional PBX and gives mobile users full access to switchboard services, such as answering services and call forwarding.
Folksam has more than 60 offices throughout Sweden, all of which will form part of the new contact center.
MarketShare Telecom, based in Plano, Texas, is the exclusive authorized distributor of Ericsson Enterprise products for North America. The company was formed in February 2004 to be the value-added distributor for Ericsson Enterprise products in the United States and Canada.
