Samsung and T-Mobile have together announced three new mobile phones that will be available to T-Mobile (News - Alert) cellular subscribers. The Samsung (News - Alert) SGH-t629, SGH-t619, and SGH-t509s each present distinct new features that support T-Mobile’s myFaves service, and highlight a customizable, fun, and easy-to-use phone interface with unlimited nationwide calling to five domestic phone numbers of the user’s choosing.

 

The t629, a slim slider phone, and the t619 flip-phone feature a variety of multimedia capabilities, including a 1.3 megapixel camera with zoom and video capture, an MP3 player, multimedia messaging, and EDGE connectivity. The two handsets also feature quad-band technology, so world travelers need not worry about connectivity issues when abroad. Integrated Bluetooth connectivity enables efficient, hands-free communication.

 

The t509s thin bar phone puts a colorful spin on its predecessor with deep plum coloring. It features a VGA camera, including video capture, and enhanced messaging capabilities. With its high-speed EDGE network connectivity, users have access to their choice multimedia downloads, including the ability to share videos with friends and colleagues. It also comes with integrated Bluetooth and up to 7MB of user memory.

 

T-Mobile’s myFaves service allows each subscriber to have five separate icons or images on their main display page that instantly connect to the five people they need to call most. With the push of a single button, users have unlimited calling to those five individuals, punctuating the ease of use combined with functionality and personalization that Samsung and T-Mobile have been professing of their products.
