Medio Systems have announced the TELUS Mobile Search, a tool for use in North American handheld devices that makes it easier to find made-for-mobile information while on the go. The search is powered by Medio Systems and is available for free to TELUS clients with Internet-capable mobile phones.
TELUS Mobile Search enables users to search and access downloadable music, ringtones, wallpapers and games, news, flight information, lottery results, sports scores, stock quotes, product ratings and other valuable information.
The search uses advanced recommendation, merchandising and personalization technologies to customize search results for particular subscribers and handsets. Searches yield actionable answers, not pages of links.
The solution is available to 95 percent of TELUS mobility clients. Subscribers may access content from a single search box, spanning across ringtones, games, stock quotes, package tracking, flight information, weather and much more.
