Meraki has announced ten visitors to its company’s booth at Interop Las Vegas 2009 will have a chance to win their Meraki Enterprise Wireless LAN network system which is being debuted at the conference.
The offering includes the five latest Meraki MR14 Wireless Access Points and a 365 day license to the Meraki Enterprise Cloud Controller, which is valued at just under $ 5,000.
During the event, Meraki will also conduct several workshops to discuss the most recommended systematic procedures for configuring and deploying wireless networks for different parameters in assorted environments as well as demonstrate its networking solutions live for attendees.
"This is the first time the benefits of cloud computing have been brought to enterprise wireless networks, and we expect the impact to rival that of cloud computing in the CRM world," said Sanjit Biswas (News - Alert), CEO of Meraki. "With a Meraki network, a business of any size now has access to an enterprise-class wireless solution that won't overwhelm the IT staff or break the IT budget."
The Meraki Enterprise Wireless LAN product line is best suited for companies that staff from 5,000 to 50,000 employees including authorized associates or agents who want to save on IT and budget constraints.
The Meraki Enterprise Cloud Controller has a library of accumulated legacy knowledge Web-based management tools that allows IT networkers with basic qualifications and rudimentary experience to configure, setup and deploy networks by instinctively surfing and zeroing in on a correct solution.
Last year, the company said it was shipping solar-powered Wi-Fi mesh devices that would make wireless networks energy independent, significantly reduce carbon footprints and help save the environment.
