Purple Enhances Reseller Program, Updates Licensing Opportunities

Purple, a company providing cloud-based marketing and analytics software formerly known as Purple Wi-Fi, recently announced the launch of a new partner program to further expand its business as the company continues to edge into new markets. Purple is dedicated to public Wi-Fi solutions that offer an unmatched user experience for customers and provide innovative opportunities for businesses that choose to offer hotspots, singlehandedly creating industry-wide demand for Social Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Analytics, Wi-Fi Marketing and other mutually beneficial programs.

Extending Purple’s functionality to other applications, the company chose to go with a capability channel program, which provides partners with access to Purple’s reseller portal as well as essential tools for bringing solutions to market for their own customers. Partners have the option to choose between becoming an Authorized Reseller, a lower tier that doesn’t involve much more than what is necessary to effectively resell Purple’s product, or a Certified Partner, which provides the partner company’s employees with additional training, deal registration, discounts for registered opportunities and account management support.

“Authorized partners can continue to sell our products,” Gavin Wheeldon, Purple’s CEO. “However, if a partner chooses to become certified, and goes through our simple online training process, they will experience another level of support from us, and ultimately enjoy enhanced selling opportunities.”

Under the Certified Partner umbrella, there are three primary areas of training companies must undergo: Selling, Deployment and Customer Success. Purple wants to maintain the integrity of its brand and ensure the same level of service quality for any customer using its product, so the company has dedicated considerable resources to this program to ensure all involved parties are comfortable and attain success.

In addition to the capability channel program, Purple is offering white label options so companies can resell the product under their own brand. Companies can deploy Purple in the way that best works for them, whether it be through the Authorized Reseller and Certified Reseller programs or through a white label contract, and immediately begin trickling down the opportunities of next-gen public Wi-Fi to their customers.

Purple offers a range of pricing options for these opportunities, notably a new license type called Foundation that allows partners to sell its product at a much lower price point. Also accompanying these announcements is the removal of monthly pricing and a new five-year licensing offer, continuing the company’s dedication to offering maximum value to its partners and their customers.
