AFORE Joins CA Technologies' Cloud Commons Ecosystem

CA Technologies (News - Alert) sponsored Cloud Commons ecosystem will now include AFORE Solutions Inc. The Cloud Commons Marketplace will be utilized by AFORE to offer CloudLink security and management solutions and expert services to clients and associates of CA Technologies.

In a release, Brian Burba, VP, solutions Management, CA Technologies said, "The Cloud Commons ecosystem combines a knowledge-based interactive development and vendor community, cloud development tools, cloud test grid, and an online marketplace for cloud services and products from CA Technologies and third-party vendors. Important data can be protected by customer enterprise networks with the multi-tenancy offering, CloudLink for the CA AppLogic cloud platform, which offers continuous encryption of network traffic and cloud-based storage. Network traffic between the client and cloud data center is protected and managed by CloudLink virtual appliances. Apart from offering safe NFS data stores to CA AppLogic applications, CloudLink virtual appliances completely manage the encryption keys and security policies of these applications.

Clients and associates of CA Technologies will be guaranteed secure deployments with this complete security solution which will be launched during the second quarter of this year. This encrypted solution will also enhance the sturdy security features incorporated in the CA AppLogic platform.

Technical services especially for the development and incorporation of security and networking essentials for CA AppLogic environments will be offered by AFORE. The company will develop and implement appliances for CA Technologies’ clients and associates; and also provide wrapping, integration and migration services.
