Gatekeeper Business Solutions, Inc. Implements MLC Biometric Technology Solution With the City of Deerfield Beach, FL
DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. --(Business Wire)-- Gatekeeper Business Solutions (GBS) a time and labor management solution provider, effectively implemented its Municipal Labor Control (MLC) solution with the City of Deerfield Beach. The MLC solution provides management with more timely information and streamlined their current processes by replacing their time collection punch clocks and manual time sheets.
Employees within Public Works, Parks and Recreation, Streets and Utilities, and Senior Services now clock in and out using biometric hand clocks. This allows managers to be instantly alerted to late or missing employees and potential overtime issues before they actually occur.

The MLC solution integrates with the Deerfield HTE payroll and financial system, which eliminates the need to re-enter payroll information.
Through the use of the biometric hand clocks, the citizens of Deerfield are ensured that their tax dollars are used to pay for employees that are actually working, since the clocks eliminate the opportunity for employees to clock in and out for each other, referred to as "buddy-punching".
