Omnix Software Inks Partnership Agreement with Ventera

UK-based Omnix Software, a provider of project automation software solutions for telecom infrastructure management, has announced a partnership with Ventera Corp.




Ventera is a systems integration consultancy working across the wireless telecoms, financial and government sectors in the United States.

Omnix’ partnership with Ventera is expected to provide best practice software and services offering. In a release, company officials said the offering is based on more than 10 years experience with prominent European operators.
“We chose to partner with Omnix after a thorough review of the market because they are specialists, have an unmatched customer base and have the track record to build customer confidence,” said Robert Acosta, CEO at Ventera.
 
He said that Omnix platform's flexibility allows for the implementation of diverse customer requirements and in a way that supports and integrates new and legacy work flows.
 
“Together Omnix and Ventera bring an entirely new technology value proposition to the U.S. market, along with the specialist experience to mitigate the risk to operators who implement it,” Acosta added.
 
Currently, U.S. operators are driven by extensive merger and acquisition activity, and nationwide they have many customised, disparate systems managing their network infrastructures locally.
 
“U.S. operators are in desperate need of a best-practice management tool that can be rolled out across their networks to consolidate processes and decommission legacy systems,” said Acosta.
 
Unlike the legacy systems that create organizational work process inefficiencies and higher operating costs, Officials say that Omnix and Ventera offer the streamlined efficiency and financial savings of a standardized software platform.
 
This increases ease of use and allows the flexible deployment of equipment and human resources. In addition, officials said that it also enables internal and third party performance monitoring through standardised reporting.
 
“To support our expansion into the North American market, Omnix needed an established, trusted partner with a specialist focus on network infrastructure and asset management,” said William Tickner, CEO at Omnix Software (News - Alert).

Tickner believes that by joining forces with Ventera, they will be able to provide a world class solution and dedicated nationwide customer support to the exacting standards demanded by U.S. and Canadian operators. He said that Ventera’s consulting expertise helps operators through the process of identifying and defining their needs, mapping their business requirements and processes, matching them to company’s product features and functions and managing the deployment and support of their systems.

“With Omnix technology, North American operators can join other prominent global operators in finally being able to implement a proven, best-practice solution to operational cost management,” added Tickner.
