Helius Inc., a leading developer and provider of IPTV
solutions for business, has reportedly joined the Communication Media Management Association (CMMA) as a President’s Circle Partner.
CMMA, which came into existence in 1946, brings together enterprises, not-for-profit organizations, educational institutions and government agencies that create, utilize and distribute of rich communications media.
In these times when Internet Protocol Video is playing an important role in corporate communications, Helius hopes to communicate with internal and external audiences of CMMA, in tandem with other members of the association.
Lindon, Utah based Helius enables enterprises to create effective digital signage, training, learning, and content distribution network solutions.
The CMMA partnership will allow Helius to closely associate with fellow members who are benefiting from advanced media for communication.
“I had the pleasure of attending the CMMA fall conference in Louisville and it was a Home Run. I met people who had a passion about communication and incredible creativity,” said Mike Tippets, President and CEO of Helius, Inc in a
press release. “Listening to their ideas and goals for the use of rich-media communications, I knew we needed to be part of this organization. I look forward to participating in future CMMA conferences and regional meetings and continuing to listen and learn from these distinguished veterans of corporate communications.”
“We are very excited to have Helius on board as a 2007 President’s Circle Partner,” said Warren Harmon, president, CMMA, and section head for media support services, Mayo Clinic. “Helius offers our industry unique IP
Video solutions that help enhance corporate communication goals.”
Randy Palubiak, president of Enliten Management Group, a partner with CMMA since 2001, echoed Harmon’s sentiments.
“CMMA is the premier professional organization for corporate media and communication teams. The growth in membership demonstrates the value of an organization focused on the development and use of video and rich-media for corporate communications,” Palubiak said.
He said Helius is already supporting the communications and training video networks for a number of CMMA members.
IP Multimedia Subsystems, a way to bridge the circuit-switched technology of yesteryear to the packet-switched realm of tomorrow, represents the lifeblood for service providers today. And the best way to understand all of the implications of this next-generation enabling technology is to make the IMS EXPO a must-attend event, collocated with INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO EAST, January 23–26, 2007. See you in sunny Ft. Lauderdale!
