Southern Water Services Wants Better Integrated Telecommunications Services

Southern Water Services Ltd, a U.K.-based company that specializes in providing water and sewerage systems, has revealed the integration of its telecommunication services. The successful vendor will help in the designing of the telephony system, which includes all the peripherals as well.

Southern Water Services is a UK based sewerage company that helps their clients move from one place to another. They concentrate on the intricacies of water and sewerage aspect and the company specializes in providing and implementing all types of sewerage systems and pipes.

The vendor will also provide supply and installation of all types of telephony hardware and software needed for integration. The vendor team will also do the full network configuration of the new setup, as well as configuring the peripheral systems and interfaces.

Complete testing of the system will take place before the system is made operational. Training will be given to the staff and project management will be carried on throughout the life cycle of the product.

Southern Water Services has at present a special Cisco (News - Alert) based VOIP system, which is now approaching the end of its service. The new telephony system will now integrate with the company’s existing sub systems that also include the SAP (News - Alert) Customer Relationship Management Program.

The deal will begin from July 1. The last date given to various vendors to submit their quotations is given as Jan. 24.
