Business Phone Feature: JoiBiz Intros JoiBiz DSL

By Amy Tierney, TMCnet Web Editor

In an effort to broaden its services and reach more customers, JoiBiz, an Atlanta-based communications solution provider, recently launched JoiBiz DSL, a business class DSL that targets small- and medium-size businesses.

The new JoiBiz service, which launched Jan. 11, offers reliable Internet service with 6MB of DSL speed for business customers in 34 states at a rate of $49.95 per month. There is no minimum contract. Customers can cancel the service anytime without paying termination fees, company officials said.

JoiBiz DSL comes as an addition to the company’s current Internet T1 and Bonded T1 –service, which offers mission critical Internet service to business. In addition to Internet services, JoiBiz also offers solutions to fit companies’ business phone service needs.

“JoiBiz is an innovator of business phone service and hosted PBX (News - Alert),” Joe Egosi, CEO of JoiBiz, LLC, told TMCnet in an interview. “By adding DSL service to its portfolio, JoiBiz offers complete communications solution to small- and medium-size businesses that is affordable and reliable.”

JoiBiz DSL isn’t intended to replace JoiBiz T1 service. Instead, it offers customers a cheaper alternative to specific businesses which want to have reliable Internet service, without the extra cost of T1, Egosi said.

To promote the new JoiBiz DSL entry, JoiBiz is offering two promotions. Customers can sign up for two bundled JoiBiz Business lines with 6MB JoiBiz DSL for $99 a month or the bundled JoiBiz PBX with JoiBiz 6MB DSL for $99 a month. The promotions are available until Feb. 28.
