Zultys Provides VoIP, UC to Crossroads Foundations in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong-based Crossroads Foundation has chosen Zultys as its core communications solutions provider.

 

Crossroads Foundation manages development and aid programs in over 60 countries. The non-profit organization has deployed a Zultys Unified Communications (News - Alert) solution to connect their staff in multiple development offices worldwide through voice, e-mail, fax and collaborative presence tools, according to the foundation.

 

Zultys (News - Alert) is also helping Crossroads Foundation to create virtual face-to-face interactions between organizations that need help and the capable private, corporate and institutional sponsors that have the capability to help them.

 

Crossroads Foundation said they were searching for reliable communications solutions that could provide a high degree of responsiveness to their global network of partners, sponsors and satellite offices. Since hundreds of community volunteers join Crossroads each week, the management wanted a system that was easy to use and maintain.

 

Malcolm Begbie, Crossroads Foundation CEO, said with the Zultys solution featuring built-in networking and remote worker support they are now harnessing VoIP and Unified Communications to shorten the distances between people.

 

Zultys’ solution is designed to help connect Crossroads Foundation and allows them to collaborate as if they’re working from the same conference room. The organization has also experienced some real cost-savings and productivity gains with the solution.

 

Begbie explained how the solution helped them save tens of thousands of dollars in calling costs, and reduced the technical manpower required to deploy or modify handsets, phone numbers and users. While all this could not be achieved with their previous system, this has become effortless with Zultys’ solution.

 

Steve Morrison, vice president of Product Management and Marketing at Zultys, said his company’s expects to see the impact Zultys Unified Communications solutions on Crossroad’s many efforts.
