CRM From Pardot, Prospect Insight, Now on Salesforce AppEx
By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing Editor
Pardot has announced that Prospect Insight, its marketing automation product, is now listed on the salesforce.com AppExchange, an eco-system for applications that integrate with the CRM product.
The product "maximizes efficiency for companies with multi-touch sales cycles by showing sales teams exactly where to spend their time and automatically nurturing existing leads," Pardot officials say.
This summer Pardot announced a new feature in Prospect Insight, built primarily for the B2B market.
As part of a number of features integrated into the application, Pardot announced that Prospect Insight will now allow agencies to access multiple client accounts from one central interface. This new feature will allow partners to streamline the implementation of Prospect Insight among their clients and make changes as needed "more efficiently."
Setting up new accounts and implementing Prospect Insight for a new client or creating new landing pages and layout templates for their existing customers, agencies will be able to help their clients "without the hassle of multiple logins."
Agencies with B2B clients are invited to become Pardot strategic partners, and get their own Prospect Insight implementation at a reduced price, earn commission on each additional Prospect Insight implementation they initiate and "boost business by offering clients a product that meets their marketing and sales needs."
Last month Salesforce.com ( News - Alert) Foundation, the philanthropy outreach of Salesforce.com, announced the successes that educational institutions have achieved using donated licenses of Salesforce.com's on-demand CRM technology through the One Percent Product Donation Program.
Bronx Lab School, the Knowledge Is Power Program, Resources for Indispensable Schools and Educators, San Jose Education Foundation and USC College of Letters, Arts and Sciences are among the more than 2,500 nonprofits and educational institutions around the world using Salesforce.com technology as a result of the program.
"The same on-demand CRM technology used by the private sector can have a profound effect at educational institutions by giving teachers and administrators next generation tools to track student performance," said Suzanne DiBianca, executive director of the Salesforce.com Foundation. "The mission of educational institutions to reinvent their learning institutions using the latest Internet technology goes hand in hand with the Salesforce.com Foundation's mission to redefine corporate philanthropy."
She cited the example of 30 new small schools within the New York City Department of Education who have built a data portal using donated Salesforce.com licenses in order to access accurate and real-time student information. The schools customized the system to match school-specific programs such as attendance and grade tracking, and today there are 800 users across the 30 schools using the data portal.
