Sprint Nextel Gives Customers a New and Powerful Sprint.com

RESTON, Va. --(Business Wire)-- Finding product and service offerings from Sprint Nextel (NYSE: S) has just become much easier for customers. The company today announced it has launched a newly redesigned online experience at www.sprint.com. Customers now have immediate access to all of their wireless information needs, as well as use of several new features and offerings that are designed to answer customers' requests for more self-service options and transactions. The new Sprint.com is just one more step intended to enhance the overall customer experience and simplify the way customers and prospects do business with Sprint.




The new sprint.com includes several new features for customers:

-- Digital Lounge - Visitors to the new Sprint Digital Lounge will be able to easily find, preview, buy and manage digital media content such as ringers, screen savers, games, applications, multi-media themes, music and call tones. The Digital Lounge provides online access to Sprint's full portfolio of digital media content available on Sprint devices and the digital media content is updated weekly with releases of new and popular content, as well as special promotions. -- Intelligent Search (i-Search) - Sprint's new Intelligent Search solutions is a powerful new tool enabling visitors to Sprint.com to find information about Sprint products and services. It delivers targeted, relevant and accurate search results in a very fast and easy-to-use manner. It provides the foundation for high-quality online customer service. Users will have the ability to perform natural language searches, and receive accurate, effective results that helps customers get the exact information they are looking for quickly. Intelligent Search can be found throughout the online shopping experience and in the support sections of sprint.com.

-- Handset Upgrades - Sprint customers will now be able to go online to quickly and conveniently check their eligibility for upgrading to a new device. Additionally, customers who are eligible for a new device and choose to upgrade via a Sprint Virtual Channel (web or telesales) are now able to do so without incurring any upgrade fees.

-- Adding Phones / Sharing Minutes - Adding phones to an account is one of the most popular customer requests, so Sprint is now making it easier for customers to log-in and add phones to their accounts or call telesales so that they can share minutes across devices. In addition, customers will have access to exclusive offers as they shop via Sprint Virtual Channels.
