NTT DoCoMo (News - Alert), Inc., this week introduced a new line of 3G FOMA handsets: 703i series, D800iDS, and SO903iTV. The 703i series includes eight models.

 

Most of the 703i models are ultra-slim phones. In fact, NTT DoCoMo claims that two of those models—N703iµ and P703iµ—are the thinnest W-CDMA clamshell handsets in the world.

 

The company’s D800iDS handset is perhaps even more noteworthy, as it boasts two screens—one conventional, one that is touch-enabled to replace a keypad.

NTT DoCoMo said in its announcement about the new phones that the N703iD handset will be available January 26. Other 703i models, and D800iDS, will launch next month. SO903iTV, which boasts a high-resolution LCD and enhanced audio, will hit the market in June.

 

All ten of the company’s new phones are on display in Tokyo—at the Hillside Plaza, Daikanyama Hillside Terrace complex—through January 28.
