Lingo Adds Four More Countries to its VoIP Global Calling Plan

By Johanne Torres, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Now subscribers to Lingo’s VoIP calling service will be able to call Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and South Korea without incurring extra per-minute charges. The provider announced today that it added these four countries to its Global calling plan, which is priced at $21.95 per month.

“The addition of Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, and Singapore to Lingo's global calling plan provides greater value and savings to Lingo’s broadband phone service customers,” said Lingo’s president Ravi Bhatia in a statement. “We appreciate all of our customers’ business and they can expect upcoming announcements that will further enhance our customers’ satisfaction.”

Today’s news follows Lingo’s announcement a few months ago about it adding local phone numbers in Israel to its VoIP offering. Specifically, Lingo is now offering phone numbers associated with Israel's most populated business and cultural center, Tel-Aviv. Phone numbers associated with Tel-Aviv have been made available to new and existing Lingo VoIP customers.
