Sony Ericsson Intros W395 Walkman Phone

Sony Ericsson recently announced it is bringing great music with high sound quality and thumping bass to the masses with the Slick Slider W395 Walkman phone.
 
The W395 Walkman, which measures 96 x 47 x 14.9 mm and weighs only 96 grams, will be available in selected markets from Q1 in the colors Dusky Grey and Blush Titanium.
 
The phone offers a full range of great music through powerful built-in stereo speakers, high quality bass and a stereo headset and Walkman music player.
 
With a new Track ID feature, users can find out about a song even if they're not sure of the name and a Play Now feature provides a full range of mobile entertainment content downloadable from the handset.
 
In addition to its music capabilities, the phone also includes a 2.0 mega pixel camera with up to 2.5x digital zoom, photo fix, picture blogging and Video recording and an open wave Web browser, speakerphone, Email Text messaging (SMS), Picture messaging (MMS), a crystal clear 2.0" display of 176 x 220 pixels resolution, a 1GB memory card, an FM radio, up to 8 hrs talk time, and so much more.

Our most affordable Walkman slider phone to date allows users to share music with friends as well as video clips and photos for the ultimate entertainment experience."
 
Sony Ericsson is a manufacturer of mobile handsets and operates in over 80 countries including manufacturing in China and R&D sites in China, Europe, India, Japan and North America.
 
Greenpeace recently listed the company as being environmentally friendly after scoring high in a study they conducted to show that some companies can develop products that do less harm to the environment. Each year, the group says there are 20 million to 50 million tons of electronic waste produced, which is posing enormous dangers to our environment. In the study, the highest-scoring device was Sony-Ericsson’s T650i phone, with 5.30 out of 10.
 
In addition, the company extended its portfolio strategy by supporting the Open Handset Alliance, which is a group of various technology and mobile companies with a common interest aimed to innovate in mobile field.
 
Sony Ericsson (News - Alert) said that this new membership of the Open Handset Alliance would complement the company’s existing Open OS strategy that is based on the Symbian and Windows Mobile platforms.
 
In addition, Quickoffice a provider of mobile office productivity software and solutions, recently entered into a multi-year agreement with Sony Ericsson that includes the Quickoffice software platform on all future Sony Ericsson smart phones
