Boingo Wireless, a provider of WiFi ( News - Alert) access, has reportedly expanded its reach through a recent roaming agreement with Tomizone, a Wi-Fi service provider in the Australasia region.
Tomizone offers enterprise-class authentication and billing solutions and rapid network growth for wireless networks or operators. The company’s solutions are delivered by its cloud-based Software as a Service Platform driving Tomizone WiFi Hotspots and Zones, for private and public sector customers including telcos, ISPs, SMEs, retail chains, individuals and cities.
This agreement enables Boingo ( News - Alert) subscribers’ access to 4,000 Tomizone locations immediately – with the remaining 12,000 Tomizone hotspots to be made accessible in the near future.
“With the addition of Tomizone, Boingo continues its aggressive global network expansion,” said Allen Pan, director, Asia Pacific for Boingo Wireless ( News - Alert).
“Our aim is to give users as many locations as possible to stay connected – whether they are local to the Australasia region or international travelers,” Pan said.
With a single account, Boingo allows its users to log on to the Boingo Network locations that include the top airports around the world, major hotel chains, coffee shops, restaurants, and metropolitan hot zones.
