First Orion Geared for Innovation Surge with Strategic Leadership Shift

By Greg Tavarez April 30, 2024

For more than a decade, First Orion has been revamping how we use phones. They're renowned for helping businesses show their name when they call, which builds trust and strengthens customer relationships. They also put a big focus on keeping out unwanted calls, making them a prominent figure in call security.

Major phone companies in the U.S. and even big, successful businesses trust First Orion (News - Alert) to improve customer interactions and set new standards for the industry. To continue to enhance innovation and market leadership at First Orion, the company promoted Joe Stinziano to the role of President and CEO, effective May 1.

Over the course of his career that spans over three decades, Stinziano held multiple executive leadership roles, including a 12-year stint at Samsung (News - Alert) Electronics America as Corporate Executive Vice President of the Consumer and Enterprise Business Division. He also held multiple positions at AT&T (News - Alert), Sony Electronics and D&M Holdings.

He joined First Orion as president and chief operating officer in July 2022, and his leadership led to the successful implementation of groundbreaking technologies that safeguard consumer privacy, enhance corporate communication strategies and bring transparency to communications.

Under his leadership, First Orion also expanded INFORM branded calling and new out-of-band solutions such as INFORM PAIRED and SENTRY and expanded strategic relationships to bring branded communication solutions to all major U.S. carrier networks, as well as multiple international partnerships.

These initiatives have firmly established First Orion as a driving force in enhancing consumer trust and transparency in communications across the globe.

Because of Stinziano's leadership, First Orion will become a much bigger player in the telecommunications industry. His clear plans and determined work ethic will make the company more innovative and successful.

“I am honored to lead First Orion as its next CEO,” said Stinziano. “We have a fantastic foundation, incredible team members and a clear mission to drive the future of transparent communication. I am committed to upholding our tradition of innovation and excellence that Charles has led over the past 16 years.”

Stinziano succeeds Charles Morgan, a titan of technology and data marketing. Morgan’s insights will continue to be a cornerstone of First Orion’s success as he continues as the chairman of the Board and Executive Committee.
