Avaya Introduces New Communication and Collaboration Suite

By Stefania Viscusi March 28, 2024

Customer experience and communications solutions provider Avaya unveiled the Avaya (News - Alert) Communication and Collaboration Suite, a platform designed to streamline communication and collaboration experiences for customers. This suite offers a unified space where users can seamlessly connect with both people and tools, and includes features like meetings, calls, chats, file sharing, task management, and more.

One of the key aspects of Avaya's strategy is flexibility, allowing customers to choose deployment options that best suit their organization's needs. Whether it's on-premises, in a private cloud, or leveraging the public cloud, its goal is to provide communication solutions that are tailored to each customer's preferences.

For those opting for on-premises solutions, Avaya offers Avaya Aura and Avaya IP Office, so customers to maintain and strengthen their advanced communication systems while ensuring reliability and operational continuity.

Private cloud deployment is facilitated through Avaya Enterprise Cloud, hosted on Microsoft (News - Alert) Azure, it offers heightened security and efficiency while retaining the benefits of Avaya Aura in a private cloud environment.

Avaya Cloud Office by RingCentral (News - Alert) is the public cloud option, that makes it possible for organizations to enhance employee experiences with a comprehensive UCaaS offering in select geographies.

Avaya Communication and Collaboration Suite also integrates seamlessly with leading collaboration platforms, enhancing team connectivity and operational efficiency. By incorporating technologies such as AI, enterprises can innovate without disrupting existing infrastructure.

The company also announced a partnership with Zoom to integrate Zoom Workplace, an AI-powered collaboration platform, with the Communication and Collaboration Suite. This enables customers to manage their communication environments and workflows more efficiently.

“In an era where workers spend many hours each day on video calls, often across multiple collaboration solutions, the Avaya Communication and Collaboration Suite emerges as a beacon of integration and efficiency. By streamlining its UC offerings into a single suite, Avaya not only addresses the evolving demands of customers and their employees but also offers a unique solution that simplifies the complex digital workspace. This consolidation is poised to redefine how organizations foster collaboration, ensuring seamless interaction across diverse collaboration solutions and enhancing productivity in the virtual workplace,” said Zeus Kerravala (News - Alert), Founder and Principal Analyst at ZK Research.
