GL Enhances VoIP Test Tool
GL Communications announced enhancements to
its VoIP Conformance Test Tool. Known as Message
Automation & Protocol Simulation (MAPS),
this software tool is designed for SIP and Megaco
protocol conformance testing. MAPS has the ability
to simulate any interface of the VoIP network.
Because single MAPS software can act as more
than one SIP entity at a time and can generate any
SIP messages on VoIP networks, most testing can
be automated. The solution obviates the need for
equipment needed for testing, cutting costs and
complexity. In addition to including test functions
to generate MEGACO messages, the test library
boasts edit messages, simulates a variety of call
flows, and control scenarios.

and the growing volume of employee/client data. According
to the report author, up to 86 percent of medium businesses
faced a security breach/data loss in the last 12 months, with
