Five Technology Trends to Watch Out for in 2017

Technology is constantly changing and updating itself to incorporate the most fascinating aspects. Every second it is changing, only for the better and, since there is always a better than the best, technology today will never be stagnant. Here are some of the cool new trends to watch out for in 2017 and how they are going to change the market.

3D Printing

3D printing is gaining popularity among the tech whiz people around the world and it is only natural that soon it is going to be more affordable than ever. When this technology becomes a household feature, the entire manufacturing system as we see today will be changed completely. We are expected to see a shift of production from the monopoly of large factories to smaller garage- and backyard-based manufacturing units. There is also a high chance that, owing to the availability of cheaper production options, prosthetic limbs and other such aids will be available to the people at much lower costs.

Better security

As we have already seen, voice recognition, fingerprint sensors and face recognition are common features in mid- to high-range phones these days. With each passing day, security systems will become even better, incorporating biometric recognition to retina scan and other new emerging technology, making it much more difficult to break into a secure system. Right from the high technology baby monitors to unhackable smart locks, you will soon have to worry less about the security of your valuables and priceless loved ones.

Smart devices

More and more devices are connected to one another via smart systems. Now, you can control your TV or AC or many other devices using a smartphone. As more and more devices are fitted with smart processors, the need for separate remotes will be reduced, as apps will be able to control everything. You will never again have to panic on a vacation about whether you switched off the gas or whether your apartment is getting flooded because you left a window open by mistake.

Cognitive systems

Various devices and systems are now enabled with smarter features. It can be assured that these features will allow them to create a better and more personalized experience for users. For example, a TV will be able to create various user profiles and suggest new shows and channels depending on the kind of likes and dislikes exhibited by the user. Similarly, washing machines will be able to offer an array of customizable choices, based on previous experiences, which the users can pick to ensure that they do not have to waste a lot of time working out different modes every single time.

Better healthcare

Technology has not limited itself to merely smart devices. It has been constantly improving the field of healthcare. Right from high-end devices for better diagnosis to the most modern devices to aid disabled people in leading a normal life, technology is working on it. This would give rise to the need for a number of different industries, like quality transcription services, maintenance and repair of these devices, and even for technologically advanced operators to help smooth functioning of these devices. Sick and disabled people will be able to opt for better care and also have a higher chance of getting better than ever before.

Technology is indeed a wondrous thing which is changing our lives with every passing moment.
