With the impending release of iOS 7, we are getting more and more little leaks about what kinds of features the brand new operating system will bring. This summer, it seems as if Apple (News - Alert) might be devoting a little more time and attention to its set top console, Apple TV. After a wait of several months, the device just got HBO Go and ESPN (News - Alert). When iOS 7 lands, the device will also have the ability to stream iTunes Radio and adopt a conference room display option.

A new video, which leaked out of Cupertino shows that these new features are in the works when the operation system officially hits devices later this summer. iTunes Radio being on Apple TV is not exactly a surprise, considering that the company said as much at WWDC, but it’s nice to see that they’ve moved far enough ahead that it will indeed be there beginning on launch day. The nice thing about having it actually in the console is that you don’t need to worry about streaming the service through your iPad or iPhone (News - Alert). iTunes Radio on Apple TV is completely free-standing.

If Apple really does hope that its streaming music service is going to compete with Google and Pandora (News - Alert), it’s going to need as many ways as possible to get that service out to its users.

The conference room display seems to be exactly what you think it would be. This mode is supposed to be used for sharing content in meeting rooms that use larger screens than your average television. There is also ability for anyone in the room to connect their iOS devices to the presentation. Instructions appear on screen as to how to do this through AirPlay (News - Alert).

Another new feature, less heralded than the first two will apparently also allow users to customize the style of subtitles. Not a hugely important feature but surely some users will appreciate the function.
