North Dakota Added to Blue Jay's Growing List of States

CARROLLTON, Texas, July 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Jay Wireless is proud to announce the addition of North Dakota to its list of states that are serviced by Blue Jay through the Lifeline Program. Customers who qualify for the Lifeline Program can utilize the Online Enrollment Process by visiting Blue Jay's website and completing the application.

North Dakota had a low poverty rate ompared to the rest of the country, according to TalkPoverty.org in their 2014 Report. With a population of just under 700,000 in the state, almost 12% of its residents fall under the poverty line. That is not a huge number, and is well below the national average, but there is still a need. North Dakota also has plans available from Blue Jay for Tribal areas for those who qualify. That is where the Lifeline Program helps. Blue Jay provides service to 18 states currently to help connect those in need with family, friends and employment opportunities.
