Avvasi to Demo Q-VUE, Video-based QoE Measuring Solution at MWC

Avvasi reportedly announced that it will demonstrate Q-VUE, a solution that allows wireless carriers to measure video-based quality of experience at the Mobile World Congress (News - Alert) 2010 in Barcelona.

 

Company sources added that executives from Avvasi will host the demonstration and also throw light on the challenges faced by mobile carriers and how to overcome them and leverage the demand for mobile video from consumers.

Mobile video is gaining importance with fast growth in mobile traffic. Cisco (News - Alert) recently released data which showed that 64 percent of mobile traffic will be video within three years time. This results in growing demand for bandwidth and a demand for devices and solutions to be supported by operators who have to deliver optimized services to subscribers.
