MobiWorld Media Unveils New SPB TV 3D User Interface


MobiWorld Media chose the Mobile World Congress (News - Alert) 2012 as the venue to launch its new SPB TV 3D user interface that was tweaked specifically for next-gen mobile devices and offers advanced power, speed and high definition visual capabilities.

The company explained that its SPB mobile TV solution enables network operators, broadcasters and content owners to deliver high quality TV watching experiences to multiscreen mobile devices and the new 3D UI which can be easily integrated into existing infrastructure is supposed to offer outstanding experience of interaction that is in tune with users’ evolving mobile TV environment. The capabilities of the new UI were demonstrated by the MobiWorld Media at the Mobile World Congress.

The SPB TV 3D features easy and natural content browsing, convenient channel store, smart search, TV guide with reminders, picture-in-picture mode, social network integration and visually appealing 3D design. The solution is compatible with all existing mobile devices and desktop platforms, including Android, Symbian, iOS, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Windows Phone (News - Alert), Palm WebOS, WAP, J2ME, Maemo, bada, Windows Embedded, Windows PC and Mac OS.

The company also asserted that the SPB TV platform components are optimized to enhance the overall end-user viewing experience under varying network bandwidth conditions which enables mobile operators and TV providers to deliver live and VOD content to multiscreen and multiplatform devices without having to worry about the network or streaming option used by the end-user.

In related news, MTS (News - Alert) chose Mobile TV solution from SPB and SPB App allowed fans to watch 2011 Copa America matches on mobile devices.
