Alcatel-Lucent Technology Incorporated by Tecore Networks' Integrated Solutions
Alcatel-Lucent’s (News - Alert) Radio Access Network or RAN portfolio has been included by Tecore (News - Alert) Networks in its unified offerings. Regional and remote mobile carriers across the world can now avail Tecore’s complete package offering which has been created by incorporating Alcatel-Lucent technology with Tecore’s valued iCore Software-Defined Core Network or CN.
In a release, Robert Vrij (News - Alert), president of the Americas Region and Head of Global Strategic Alliances at Alcatel-Lucent said, “The addition of Alcatel-Lucent's Radio Access Network to the iCore CN products enables Tecore to offer its diverse customer base of regional carriers an efficient and cost-effective way to build out or upgrade 3G and 4G networks. Combining our technology with Tecore's products provides an ideal solution for new commercial carriers, including those that are rural and remote.”
Far-off villages and distant locations can now avail Tecore’ network infrastructure package called Rural Village System or RVS, which will incorporate Alcatel-Lucent's RAN technology. Tecore’s Rapid Deployment System or RDS which aids military and disaster-recovery agencies in creating rapid, protected and easily deployable networks will also include Alcatel-Lucent’s technology.
