Colorado Springs to Experience Job Growth With New PRC Contact Center
TMCnet Contributing Editor
The city of Colorado Springs is about to enjoy new growth and job opportunities as PRC, a provider of outsourced customer management, has announced that it will open a new contact center in the Colorado-based city. PRC’s plan includes bringing 550 new jobs to the area and will host a week-long job fair beginning Tuesday, January 9, 2007.
PRC’s 96,000 square foot operation will be located at 6805 Corporate Drive in the Tiffany Square office and retail center in Colorado Springs. The company plans to hire associates at all levels including management and technology team members in order to support the Company’s Fortune 500 client base. Residents in the area can apply for any of these opportunities by sending a resume to springsjobs@prcnet.com.
The PRC job fair is set to take place Tuesday, Jan. 9, and will run through Saturday, Jan. 13, at the new PRC center. Call 800-950-9600 for more information.
“Known for its surrounding beauty and the quality of its people, the Colorado Springs area is an ideal location for PRC to continue its growth,” said John G. Hall, PRC CEO, in a statement on Friday.
Joseph Livingston, PRC’s president and COO contributed that the company looks forward to hosting qualified applicants at the job fair and sharing PRC’s employee-focused culture with many new faces in the community.
Through its global network of contact centers, PRC manages customer relationships for some of the world’s most brand focused companies. PRC employs over 14,000 team members worldwide, while strategically supporting its clients through the processes of targeting, acquiring, growing and retaining customers.
Organized into two groups, PRC focuses on a Business-to-Consumer solutions team that centers its efforts on the consumer and a Business-to-Business solutions team that is responsible for directly enhancing sales and marketing efforts.
This development will have a positive impact on the local economy for Colorado Springs. PRC is not only bringing jobs to the area, but also plans to fill these positions with educated and qualified individuals from Colorado Springs.
What’s more, it is always a strong implication for the US contact center market when a company plans to establish additional operations domestically. So many offshore locations offer attractive packages for organizations to consider, yet it hurts the domestic economy when jobs are taken elsewhere. PRC has recognized the potential of the Colorado area and the benefit that it can provide its customers with this operation. It is a win for all involved.
