Lucent Technologies ORiNOCO: Power Over Ethernet!
Active Ethernet, a new feature that provides power over Ethernet capabilities for Lucent's entire ORiNOCO product line of enterprise, outdoor, and public area wireless networking equipment, allows system installers to run only a single Ethernet cable to each Access Point base station, instead of separate power and data cables, saving thousands of cabling dollars.

With CE approval, in addition to its previous FCC certifications, the i500 can be used in any region where G.992.1 T1.413i2 Annex A has been deployed across the world.
