NextUp.com Announces New Premium Voices for TextAloud

NextUp.com, a division of NextUp Technologies, LLC, has reportedly announced addition of several new Nuance (News - Alert) RealSpeak Solo Voices to the array of premium voices for its popular software TextAloud.

 

According to the company, TextAloud is the simple, affordable and convenient PC program from NextUp that lets users listen to their reading "on the go," in natural, human-sounding speech.

 

Moreover, TextAloud doesn't require special hardware, and allows PC users to export their reading into sound files for listening on just about any format desired –

- from portable MP3 players, to iPhones and iPods, Blackberries, laptops, or simple export to CD.

 

Officials said that the 17 new vocal options now available from Nuance RealSpeak for TextAloud further enhance an assortment of Premium Voices that already include dozens of languages and accents from across the globe.

Each Nuance RealSpeak Solo Voice supports speed adjustment, and the new U.S. English voices are also supported by TextAloud's Advanced Phoneme-based Pronunciation Editor.

 

The new voices include U.K. British, Irish, Scottish, Taiwanese Mandarin, Spanish, Danish, Italian, Basque, Catalan, Hindi, Icelandic, Czech, Norwegian, Swedish, Finish, and Turkish.
