snom Brings VoIP Phones to ITEXPO East

With 2009 clearly behind us, enterprises are expected to step up their investments in unified communications. So if you’re joining the 7,000 attendees at ITEXPO in Miami, you’ll be able to check out a range of solutions -- including some cool VoIP phones.

VoIP phone manufacturer snom will bring its most popular phones to the ITEXPO (News - Alert) East Show, to be held Jan. 20-22.

* snom Meeting Point: snom’s first VoIP conference phone that is designed for making multi-location arrangements with up to four parties at different locations around the globe.

 

* snom 870: an IP phone with a large, high-resolution TFT color display. The newly developed touchscreen has an intuitive user interface that helps user to easily handle even complex applications like call swapping or establishing a conference call for three participants via a simple “drag and drop” feature.

 

* snom 820: An older IP phone that unites two of the biggest requirements for modern telephones in one device: mature VoIP technology and sharp design. The high-resolution TFT color display offers a vivid illustration of call lists, phone directories and caller information via its integrated XML browser.

 

* snom m3: a device that combines everyday life with mobility, reliability and design, along with a large number of business applications. It gives the user a high level of flexibility. Using the snom m3 the business customer achieves a matured IP DECT (News - Alert) phone, which also meets the stylish tastes.

 

Recently snom announced a partnership with UC service provider ESTOS to ease the deployment of Microsoft (News - Alert) TAPI-enabled business applications. As part of the partnership, snom will use ESTOS’ ECSTA middleware to convert snom’s “Computer Telephony Integration” interface protocol to conform to the Microsoft TAPI standard.
