snom Introduces New snom 821 Desktop Phone at ITEXPO

snom technology AG, developer and manufacturer of voice over IP phones, will feature an array of new advanced IP communications products and technologies for the SMB and enterprise markets at ITEXPO this week. The conference and trade show is being held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from October 4-6, 2010.

At snom’s booth (#531), the company will be exhibiting several new products such as its snom 821 desktop phone with gigabit speed and its PA1 public announcement system. snom will also feature the snom 300 with OCS firmware, which was recently qualified as a compatible Microsoft (News - Alert) Office Communication Server 2007 R2 device through Microsoft’s Lync program.

As part of the proceedings at ITEXPO, snom’s Regional Channel Manager for the West, Tommy Lee (News - Alert), will participate on an industry panel about next generation IP phone technologies, and speak at the co-located Reseller Day event.

Announced over the summer and making its public debut, the snom 821 is a new desktop phone that brings all of the functionality and interoperability of snom’s award-winning desktop 8xx series phone, with an installed gigabit switch, allowing added support of new business applications.

Recently added to Microsoft’s compatible devices program, Lync, the snom 300 is qualified for use with the Microsoft Office Communication Server 2007 R2. The technology behind this interoperability, snom OCS, can be found on all snom phones, making snom effective and affordable complements to the growing OCS and unified communications environments.
