CRM OnDemand 'Ecosystem' from Oracle Selects Xactly

By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Xactly (News - Alert) Corporation, a vendor of on-demand sales performance management and member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork, has announced it has been selected by Oracle as one of eight partners forming "an integrated ecosystem of complementary solutions offering

extended value to Oracle (News - Alert) CRM On Demand customers," according to Xactly officials.

The group of partners, dubbed the "Elite 8," represents what Xactly officials say is "the highest tier within Oracle's new Inner Circle Partner Initiative supporting the needs of Oracle CRM On Demand application customers."

"We assembled a select group of SaaS (News - Alert) partners to promote products that best complement our customers' CRM On Demand experience," said Erica Ruliffson, group vice president, CRM On Demand, Oracle.

Already actively engaged with Oracle's North American sales organization, the Elite 8 partners are ActivePrime (real-time data deduplication), Antenna Software (customizable mobile CRM), BigMachines (configure, price, propose), Cast Iron Systems (integration solutions), Eloqua (automated marketing and demand generation), Right90 (sales forecasting and revenue performance management), White Springs (top sales methodologies) and Xactly (sales performance management).

Eloqua's Conversion Suite, which provides a turnkey product for executing, automating and measuring multi-channel marketing programs, is a hosted marketing product for Oracle CRM On Demand -- "a combination for end-to-end marketing and sales automation," according to the Oraclians.

The Elite 8 partners collaborate with Oracle CRM On Demand product strategy, product management, engineering, quality assurance and Global Alliance organizations.

Eloqua's product is designed to be used to close the loop between marketing and sales, company officials say.

Working with Eloqua, "we look forward to enabling our customers to track and measure marketing outcomes, directly tie sales revenue to marketing spend and increase overall customer lifetime value," Ruliffson says.

"We are excited to expand our relationship with Oracle," said Rob Brewster, Senior Vice President of Business Development at Eloqua.
