HSN Intros New Mobile Shopping App for Android Devices

HSN, an interactive multichannel network and retail destination, offering a curated assortment of exclusive products and top brand names to its customers, has debuted new app for mobile devices featuring Google’s Android operating platform.

 

Company had previously released the same app on the iPhone (News - Alert) and is now available for download in Android Market to serve a wide variety of Android devices.

 

The new app will allow Google Android (News - Alert) device users to customize their shopping experience with their favorite categories and save preferences for future visits.

 

They can also share their favorite products with friends via email, access the television program guide and receive email alerts about favorite guest appearances on HSN. Additionally, the application offers a variety of ways to find HSN products designed to create an easy-to-navigate and seamless shopping experience.

 “The Google (News - Alert) Android shopping app is just the latest in a series of major technological advances, which will deliver the HSN experience to even more consumers,” Bradley said.

 

In addition to the above features, the new app also offers seamless transactional experience. The “Buy This Now” feature in it helps customers to apply for coupons and make changes to their shipping address or credit card. Additional features enable users to save items for later purchase, view a 90-day order history, track shipments, and connect to HSN’s call center to purchase items via phone.
