Route Engine 1.0 Rolled Out By
dynamicsoft, Deployed By Level 3
dynamicsoft has announced the dynamicsoft Route Engine
1.0, a carrier-class solution for routing calls at the
core of service providers' session initiation protocol
(SIP)-based networks. The engine allows immediate
deployment of differentiated services, made possible by
intelligent, application-layer routing, and solves
scalability challenges in softswitch-based networks. It
offers five-nines reliability, and can support more than
three million busy hour call attempts, routing calls
based on more than 17 IP and PSTN criteria. Level 3
Communications is integrating the Route Engine into its
network to promote development of VoIP applications and
the expansion of SIP-based call termination to the PSTN.
