processor board to 60 channels per slot. The TAP-806 offers a cost-effective solution for

Mitel Semiconductor Unveils Trio Of New Digital Switches for
Telecom, Data Communications, and CTI
Mitel Semiconductor, a division of Mitel Corp., has introduced a trio of new digital
switches for telecommunication, data communications, and CTI applications. Mitel's new
MT90826 QDX provides the largest capacity TDM timeslot interchange capability available,
with non-blocking switching of 4,096 x 4,096 channels that support 32 streams at two,
four, or eight Mb/s. The MT90863 RCDZ is a specialized 3V TDM timeslot switch that
supports voice, data, and video traffic. The IC provides 2,048 channels from the backplane
bus to 512 channels on the local interface. For larger PBX systems, central office
equipment, or intermediate data access equipment, the MT90823 LDX provides a low-cost,
low-power TDM timeslot switching solution. The 2,048 x 2,048 channel, non-blocking digital
switch supports Mitel's patented message mode and requires just 150 mW of power.
