Point To Point Technology USA has been awarded U.S. licenses for patented technology, which connect wireless phones to automotive, home, office, and hand-held environments from Cellport Systems.
Using Cellport's patented 2-part Telematics technology, Point to Point USA will now provide Corporate and Government buyers, resellers and consumers with the latest in wireless information and entertainment products from around the world.
Telematics technology has the ability to connect multiple makes/models of wireless phones with one standard interface for convenient hands-free use for voice calls, wireless navigation, calendar, web and other applications.
“ We are extremely excited that Cellport has granted Point To Point USA its Telematics licenses in the U.S.,” said Brett Haysom, Point To Point Group's CEO in a statement.
Haysom said that this technology allows them to bring the latest in wireless hands-free equipment from around the world to the U.S. corporate and government markets. With this agreement, Point To Point can now offer U.S. customers world-class wireless products from Bury Technology, Boston Amplifiers, Connects 2, Cardo, Kuda, Professor Technology and several others.
The company also noted in a statement to the press that they now support the growing line of hand-held wireless devices such as 2G and 3G phones, PDAs, MP3s and other products by providing power, charging, audio/video connectivity and a consumer-friendly docking interface in a convenient, easy to use hands-free system.
