The company has expanded its two radio meshed WiFi
products by offering 2.4/5.4GHz and 2.4/4.9GHz versions of the MOTOMESH Duo. The product is currently available in 2.4/5.8GHz configuration.
Municipalities and network providers now have more choices and greater flexibility to best meet the wireless application and coverage needs of end users. While the 5.4GHz model addresses the needs of international customers, the 4.9GHz model introduces secure and dedicated mesh networking at an attractive price.
“The ability to choose the best combination of meshed WiFi (

Wiggins added: “MOTOMESH Duo is ideal for cities, big and small, that are looking to enable next generation solutions for public access, public safety, public works and enterprise.”
Earlier known as HotZone Duo, MOTOMESH Duo includes the addition of several new features allowing service providers to more easily respond to end-user requirements. Boasting small form factor, customization characteristics and spectrum flexibility, the product now has added features that provide more cost-effective and easier ways to manage WiFi networks.
Some of the new feature enhancements include flexible and adaptable internet gateways, advanced management tools, and dual-meshing capability.
Dustin Jurman, president at Rapid Systems (a municipal wireless service provider) explained that meeting the needs of a wide variety of municipal wireless customers can be challenging and the ability to choose from a portfolio of cost-effective, customizable networks from one vendor is the right answer.
Jurman said that MOTOMESH Duo's new hardware coupled with its new features enables complete customization and scalability regardless of network size, location or application.
