Redknee, which provides infrastructure software that monetizes and personalizes services and content for mobile operators, has entered into a reseller partnership with CommVerge Solutions, a major Asia- based telecommunications systems and solutions integrator.
Under the agreement, CommVerge will sell and support Redknee's products with its Asia-based workforce. Specifically, Redknee and CommVerge will concentrate on delivering advanced monetization and personalization solutions, including a real-time converged rating solution for voice, data, messaging and
content services supporting all traffic-types -- including GPRS and Wi-Fi/WiMAX (News - Alert) -- in various existing networks with extensions to IMS and FMC concepts
The agreement will provide Asian carriers access to Redknee's solutions with experienced localized integration from CommVerge.
"CommVerge has an excellent track record supporting service provider customers throughout the Asia region,” said Edmund Wei, CEO of CommVerge, in a statement. “The addition of Redknee's innovative monetization and personalization solutions to the CommVerge portfolio will allow CommVerge to provide solutions that ensure our customers remain at the very forefront of the telecommunications industry."
Both the companies also offer a centralized policy management solution delivering combined Policy Decision and Charging Rules Functions to enable dynamic subscriber-based QoS and real-time network resource management and a compliant centralized privacy, profile, and preference solution enabling subscriber-control and access to static and dynamic subscriber profile data required across applications for fine-grained service
