VeriFone Holdings, Inc. has partnered with Network International LLC, to roll out the PCI compliant VeriFone Vx 670 portable payment system, the latest addition to VeriFone's Vx Solutions.
The agreement will increase the global footprint of VeriFone and support its position as the provider of secure, end-to-end electronic payment solutions.
VeriFone’s Vx 670, an advanced portable payment system will be deployed by Network International to restaurants, clubs, hotels, shopping malls and high fashion retailers, utilizing GPRS communications.
Marshal, VeriFone International Partner will support Network International. Marshal has been deploying VeriFone solutions in the Gulf for over 15 years. Currently, VeriFone’s Vx Solutions are being deployed for payment and value-added applications in many countries across the Middle East region, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Yemen, Egypt, Jordan, and other Gulf States.
“As a leading merchant acquirer in UAE, Network International understands its responsibility towards the retail community in the Emirate,” said Network International chairman Abdulla Qassem in a press release.
He continued: “We are proud to be associated with VeriFone and are happy to endorse the Vx 670 to our valued retailers who can take advantage of its extended coverage area and increased flexibility of usage with GPRS wireless communication technology.”
VeriFone reportedly plans to continue delivering dynamic new products like the Vx 670 and strengthen strategic links with key regional solutions providers such as Network International to support their market share growth in the Middle East.
The unique MAXui design of RoHS-compliant Vx 670 has revolutionized all-in-one, handheld payment systems. This small and compact system offers Wi-Fi and GPRS wireless options payment options, securely handling credit and PIN-based debit cards with vertical mag-stripe reader, and offering optional smart card support.
